Corporates and individuals sometimes become embroiled in sudden media storms. These are often international in nature, receiving fresh interest from other jurisdictions due to the global news cycle. Crisis Strategy

We develop a communications strategy for each potential crisis which we have identified with key stakeholders.

This includes designated personnel for each area of the business and 24 hour cover during high risk timeframes. Our communications strategy for each crisis includes preparing both internal and external communications, as well as the individuals in those briefing circles.

Press Office

It is vital to have a robust press office in a crisis situation. We develop these for companies, from agreeing which personnel are the decision makers in this area to ensuring that press enquiries are clearly signposted on your website, including for each of the relevant specialist areas.

We ensure that press enquiries come through to the crisis team at your firm, as well as our crisis team managing your account.

We provide 24 hour cover when clients are expecting that stories could come out at any time and we work with clients to ensure communications lines are open continuously, using offices around the globe, where appropriate.


We work with key executives and your in-house communications team to identify these threats and develop agreed messaging for each scenario, including internal and external briefings, as well as protocols for who to work with in each scenario.

Broadcast media & media training

With previous BBC executives on our team, as well as journalists from the Press Association and other national and international media outlets, we are well placed to prepare clients for media scrutiny around matters of public interest.

With interview preparation and broadcast familiarisation sessions, Maltin PR ensures that clients are able to put their best foot forward when required to appear on broadcast channels at key moments.
