Gaetan was a BBC journalist and producer for more than 30 years working on stories from around the world for TV, Radio and Online.
For the majority of that time he was on the front line of daily journalism, starting out on the Today programme on Radio 4, and finishing his BBC career as a Senior Producer with the Home and Legal Affairs team. He has covered major world events including the 9/11 Terror attacks on New York and Washington, the inauguration of President Clinton, and the 2006 World Cup in Germany.
Closer to home, and more recently, Gaetan has covered some of the highest profile criminal trials and court cases in the UK which has given him a unique insight into how the media, especially broadcasters, approach and report on legal stories. Gaetan was in charge of the BBC’s coverage of the “phone hacking” trial and the subsequent civil litigation. His wealth of experience, producing high quality journalism, means he is as comfortable directing camera crews on location as he is interviewing senior politicians and public figures. Gaetan enjoys playing golf and tennis and watching live top flight sport of any kind.
