Nick Connor

Associate Director

Nick combines commercial thinking with legal experience to help clients navigate complex PR challenges. Originally trained as a lawyer in London, Nick works on a number of high profile PR mandates for litigation, reputation and crisis clients, working from both the New York and London offices.

Nick works closely with the legal teams of plaintiffs and defendants before, during, and after trials, using his understanding of commercial litigation to effectively convey clients’ messaging in situations of intense scrutiny. His PR experience includes major fraud cases, employment proceedings, class actions, environmental claims, financial disputes and criminal investigations, and he has worked with prominent individuals, listed corporations, and leading businesses in manufacturing, consulting, food, technology and private equity.

He has also worked for both corporates and HNWIs on complex and fast-moving reputational challenges separate to litigation. This includes guiding clients through challenging periods of public and shareholder scrutiny, including managing responses to social media campaigns and damaging media coverage.

While now a non-practicing lawyer, during his legal career at Hogan Lovells, Nick worked on significant international disputes, transactions and investigations for corporate clients. He spent six months seconded to the headquarters of Vodafone, where he advised on environmental and reputational issues for their global business.

Clients have praised Nick as “brilliant”, with a “nice blend of experience”. He holds a first class degree in History from Durham University and a Master’s degree in American History from University of Oxford.
