Peter is a senior reputation management adviser with nearly 20 years’ experience helping corporate, institutional and private clients facing periods of reputational challenge and opportunity.

His clients range from major public and private companies, to fast-moving challenger brands, high-net-worth individuals and public figures. Recent corporate work has included advising on emergency public safety incidents, varied litigation (criminal and civil, including collective actions), major public inquiries, regulatory and workplace investigations, advocacy campaigns, media scrutiny and more. He has specific experience in cyber security and data privacy matters, having advised on many complex breach responses and preparedness projects.

Peter also has extensive experience advising private individuals and senior executives on personal and professional matters, from strategic storytelling and personal profile-raising, to tackling defamation and smear campaigns, media intrusion, investigations, and broader disputes.

Peter works closely with our legal, intelligence, digital and security colleagues to solve clients’ communications challenges. His experience spans varied sectors, including energy and utilities, built environment, manufacturing, aviation, technology, retail and fashion, sport and tourism, as well as public services.

Prior to joining Maltin, Peter was Head of Special Situations at two international strategic communications consultancies over a ten-year period.
