Rory Fitzgerald

General Counsel

Rory is a solicitor with over ten years’ experience practising in the UK and Ireland. He also has substantial experience in legal PR and litigation PR.

He has advised global companies, government departments and high-profile individuals. Working as a lawyer in Dublin, London, Brussels and Melbourne, Rory developed broad litigation, commercial and in-house expertise.

He trained as a solicitor in Dublin and Brussels with a leading Irish law firm. This excellent training saw him gain experience in complex litigation and major transactions. Once qualified, he specialised in civil and criminal litigation. He has practised in the UK and Ireland and acted in major cases up to the level of the UK Supreme Court.

While practising law, Rory’s parallel interest in journalism saw him develop substantial media experience internationally. This combination of legal and media experience saw him join a leading European law firm in a unique communications capacity, as both a lawyer and communications advisor. Here he was closely involved in advising on significant international legal and policy issues. He also worked on a major research project with the Economist Intelligence Unit in London. He has provided both legal and litigation PR advice on high profile court cases and contentious international legal matters.
