Partner James Lynch speaks at the European Young Bar Association’s London International Weekend
Partner James Lynch and I-OnAsia’s London Managing Partner Oliver Laurence discussed how litigation PR and private investigations can assist lawyers and their clients at the European Young Bar Association’s London International Weekend on Saturday 24th September.
James discussed the ways that public relations support can enhance lawyers’ profiles, as well as provide tangible benefits to their clients throughout the litigation process by creating a strong public-facing narrative and protecting their reputations.
Oliver discussed the positive impact that investigations can lend to complex cross-border litigation by producing quality, actionable evidence, that can be utilised in the courtroom.
The panel, entitled “PI to PR: How they help you to win”, was moderated by Michael Polak of Church Court Chambers, Chair of the Young Bar, and Director of Justice Abroad.
The European Young Bar Association is a non-profit association that represents over 200,000 young lawyers. Its annual London International Weekend is hosted alongside the Junior Lawyers Division, the London Young Lawyers Group, the Young Barristers’ Committee, and the Middle Temple Young Barristers’ Association, and ran from 22-25 September. The conference brought together junior lawyers from across the continent to attend presentations and skills-based seminars from a host of industry leaders.
