Public Affairs

Organisations do not succeed by being reactive. In the same way that they need to press and pursue their message through the right mix of media, they also need to make sure that they are heard – and heard correctly – by those who have an influence over their future.

Maltin PR will help to increase your influence among the people who matter. We will keep you ahead of the domestic and international political agenda, we will raise your profile with the right decision makers, and we will help to influence opinion and shape public policy.

We act for organisations in promoting their commercial interests and in lobbying for specific causes and for individuals in pursuing their political objectives and ambitions. We undertake bespoke campaigns that will help you achieve your goals.

The management of public affairs is not just about arranging drinks parties on The Terrace at the House of Commons or on the White House lawn. It’s about setting out the landscape of influence for an organisation, and methodically addressing all the components.

This spectrum of influence will extend from Brussels, Westminster and Washington through to trade associations, consumer organisations, federal agencies, local authorities, shareholders, stakeholders, customers, clients, think tanks, business groups, unions, and pressure groups.

Your organisation both needs to have its message heard and understood, and has the right to a clear hearing. In order to achieve that end, we develop and manage public affairs programmes which are rigorous and have clear objectives against which we can monitor and benchmark results.

Maltin PR has been our partner in raising the visibility of the Right Livelihood Award, widely known as the ‘Alternative Nobel Prize’, since 2016. We were impressed by the creative direction suggested for the award’s new visual identity, particularly the logo that is both modern and true to the award’s origins. We were equally pleased with the execution of the new look & feel in print and online, including redeveloping the award’s website. Last but not least, we worked together on getting the award better known in the English-speaking world, achieving a significant increase in the media coverage. The Maltin PR team is always ready to go an extra mile to ensure the success of our project and to make the most of our modest PR budget. But what we appreciate most is a sense of a truly shared vision—one of getting our laureates’ inspiring stories out.
